SD Style Drilling Pipe Slips
The SD Style Drill Pipe Slips are designed for drill pipes from 2-3/8” to 7”(60.3 to 177.8mm) with 3 different sizes: Short (SDS), Medium (SDML) and Extra Long (SDXL), which cover the shallowest and deepest wells. Their unique full wrap around grip and insert design can prevent damage to the drill pipe. The dove tail slots design holds the inserts securely in place and is easily changed for different size pipes. All are designed and manufactured according to API Spec 7K Specification for drilling and well servicing equipment.
WOOLLEY TYPE B STYLE DRILL PIPE SLIPS
YECO offers 3 sizes of Woolley type B style drill pipe slips: B short, B long, and X long - to satisfy all size wells to be drilled. The unique torque transmitting design can directly transfer all the torque to the slips, avoiding abrasion and prolonging service life. Slip inserts are easily replaced with removal of one retaining pin.
BAASH-ROSS STYLE DU DRILL PIPE SLIPS
YECO carries 2 types of “DU” series Rotary Slips: DU (with 12” long gripping for wells 8000’ or less) and DUL (with 16” long gripping for deeper wells and heavier drill strings). They are essential tools for gripping and holding the upper portion of the drill string on the drill floor. YECO type “DU” Rotary slips are designed for long trouble free service. They are made of alloy steel and heat-treated for strength and resistance to wear. They are for use in API tapered bowls. They are all designed and manufactured under API Spec 7K Specification for drilling and well servicing equipment.
DCS TYPE DRILL COLLAR SLIPS
YECO’S DCS type Drill Collar Slips (DCS) are designed to grip drill collar pipes with multi-segments and button inserts. The full wrap around design insures a proper and fast slip setting. The circular button design with no exposed edges protects from fractures and chips. The slips and inserts can be easily changed. YECO carries 3 sizes of DCS drill collar slips: S, R and L.
WOOLLEY TYPE A DRILL COLLAR SLIPS
YECO Woolley A Type Drill Collar Slips are multi-segment slips. They accommodate the changes of outer diameter after abrasion of the drill collar, they use three piece inserts that levels easy for complete gripping action. YECO Woolley Type A Style Drill Collar Slips are light weight, with large handling range and large contact area on the taper.
CMS-XL STYLE CASING SLIPS
YECO CMS-XL Casing Slips accommodate casings from 4-1/2” to 30” (114.3mm -762mm). They are designed with a full wrap around grip to prevent damage and to meet the casing heavy casing loads.
BAASH-ROSS TYPE UC-3 CASING SLIPS
YECO’s Baash-Ross style UC-3 Casing Slips are multi-segment slips with a 3” taper (except size 8-5/8”) design. Each segment carries the same load, so they automatically center the casing string within the bushing or spider to keep a better shape. With changes in the number of segments and liners, it will handle strings from 7” OD to 42”OD. They should work together with spiders and insert bowls with the same taper.
